On motifs

Chocolate brown & pink would have been our color motif if only Ate Katty didn't have those colors for her wedding. I didn't even know she liked pink until she started planning for her wedding. At one point or another, I showed her a combination of brown and blue just to give her an idea of how the combination would be like. If only pink is not THE (read: MY) favorite color, I would definitely consider blue.

Second pick was black and red, a color combination "darker" than brown and pink. Although when I told my sister about the combination, she somewhat thought it was too rebellious, the term she used was "rocker" - not me in whichever way you look at it.

And then there was R telling me that the only color which spells M-I-S-U is P-I-N-K. I then had to think of the color that suited pink the best, without it being too feminine. Which meant purple or lavander or magenta were all out of the equation.

I could not exactly remember the process of how our motif came about. I just knew that pink + black + white would go well together. At the end of the day I realized our motif was actually just PINK, as black is the absence of any color, and white is the presence of all colors. Right?
