PHOTOBOOTH: IFLICK

Having a photo studio in our wedding was what we preferred rather than having a photo booth. So it is safe to say that we actually never planned on getting any photo booth for our wedding. That was until we could not find a mobile photo studio within our budget.

What we decided was to find someone who was willing to have only 1 photo per print, and we’d only set-up a couch in the photo booth area. In this case, we’d get what we want at a much lesser cost. Now the problem was we could not find any single photo booth company who does the 1-photo-per-print set-up. And if we do find someone, we were not sold with the quality of their print-outs (again based on photos they post in Facebook).

A few months before the wedding, we saw a deal from beeconomic.com for either a 3-hr or 4-hr photobooth. We searched for their account in Facebook to view their photo albums. At that time, there was only one album which has the 1-photo-per-print layout. M thought they might not accommodate our request of having only 1 photo if we did get the voucher, but since we were 100% sold with the quality of their prints, we decided to get a voucher.

We called them right away, and reserved our date, told them we’d like to make sure first of their availability before we purchase any vouchers. We got the 3-hr package, and we knew there wasn’t any stop-time (something we initially both wanted, but who’s to complain when we got the photo booth at a good price).

Via e-mail, we told them of our preference – couch set-up (which we were to provide), 1 photo layout. They were OK with that. We also told them we’d provide both the backdrop and layout for the print.

During our final detailing with our OTD, they told us that 3hrs might not be enough. We then thought, “why not make it 4hrs!”, so M sent them an SMS and asked for their rate for extra hour.

3 days before the wedding, Anna sent us an email asking for the layout. We also told her we need the backdrop panel to hang the ribbon wall we made.

When we arrived at the reception, we already saw the photo booth right away, and our thought was “we forgot to tell them where to get the couch from”. R said he’d call the attention of the OTD to help bring the couch out, M said not to worry anymore as there sure were already a lot of people who went to the photo booth to have their pictures taken.

Before the couple’s entrance it was their technician who called our attention and asked us to pose in front of the photo booth to make sure we’ll have a photo from them.

After the program, when we went back to the photo booth to have some more photos taken, M told R “Naku, malapit na mag-10, matatapos na sila”, at which the technician said “OK lang po”. They stayed until 10 past 10, when there wasn’t anyone in line for the photo booth anymore.

Package Cost: PhP 3,999 voucher + PhP 1,500 for the extra hour.
Package Inclusion: 4 hours unlimited prints.
