Reception venue: Booked

So here's what happened yesterday: Our bridesmaid Luanne has already paid the downpayment for our reception venue. Another big thanks! Yey!

Both Naz (who booked our church) and Luanne told us that we made good choices re our church and reception venue; and these comments made us smile. We've only seen the venues in pictures and made our choices from there. Some days ago, Maan (M's cousin who will get married next year) also said the same thing.

Maan & Jed were initially considering the same venue for their wedding. Upon knowing this, M replied with a "seriously?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" (anyway, that's a different story) in a panicked mode.

The venue was supposed to be booked on May 7 but Ms Noreen, the contact person there, told us they will have their company outing that day; and requested that we book it May 28 instead of May 21 (May 14 was a no-no because Luanne went to Pagudpud *smirk because of inggit).

Knowing that our date will still remain un-blocked until we pay the reservation fee, numerous emails and calls were done just so Ms Noreen does not entertain any other inquiries for June 8 - the question as to whether she really did block the date is still unanswered.

Finally, after weeks of uncertainty whether or not the venue was still available, we have now secured our slot. Sabi nga sa W@W, complete signature na.

Maraming, maraming salamat ulit kina Doi (para sa pagde-deposit ng pera sa account ni Bauh); Bauh (para naman sa pagde-deliver ng pera kay Wane); at syempre kay Wane, (pra sa pagko-commute papunta sa kung saan man para mabayaran na at mapa-reserve ang venue namin).
