Preamble: Doi, my sister, wanted to go to Corregidor for my vacation this year. I was so excited that I already told R we can have our photoshoot there at the same time as our visit. Some weeks ago, she was already giving me hints that it will be too expensive to visit the place; and that a shoot will be next to impossible as it will only be a half-day tour, and a guided tour at that.
Yesterday, a co-W@Wie Aleja posted a message in yahoogroups offering their slot for an engagement shoot which they got from K Photography Manila. They were already booked for June 4-5 - the place: Corregidor.
Side story: I really love to have a shoot in Corregidor ever since I saw the photos from Doi when she went there together with her college blockmates some years ago. Although I know that it would entail getting-up early in the morning (Im already awake by 8AM, but would get out of bed an hour later) to catch the ferry to Corregidor, I know it will be totally worth it.
So I sent Aleja an email re the total out-of-pocket cost. I also sent an email to the owner of K Photography Manila, Sha, and asked her re available dates on July. Both of them reply to emails fast; and before 5PM (Philippines time), Sha told me she will ring Sun Cruises Philippines early morning today to ask if the dates I have given, errrr, selected still have some remaining seats.
True to her word, she sent an email early this morning (probably around 9AM Philippines time) to tell me the good news: there are still available seats for a July XX-XX tour! I sooo can't wait!
