We booked Stonehouse 11 months before the wedding as we knew we’d never find something as affordable.
When we did the ocular inspection, we were only able to view 2 rooms out of 4, but we decided right then and there to book them. The presidential suite was big enough for our preps, we thought. The next day we were back to pay in full.
We booked 3 out of 4 rooms in the 5th floor, sans the 2 penthouses on the other side of the building. We knew that the wedding preps could be a riot and at least with 3 out of 4 rooms booked on the same floor, we would have the advantage of using the common areas.

The only other times we rang Stonehouse was early 2012 to double-check our booking; and to book other rooms for R’s friends from Taiwan. R's friends booked the penthouses, and the remaining room on our side.
We checked-in the day before, at around 1PM. Some 30 minutes later, our prenup photographer came – we were not required to obtain any permission nor permit for the shoot.
On the day of the wedding, as expected, there were a lot of suppliers around. When we asked for drinks, the staff delivered in less than 10minutes. When we needed an extra fan, they gave us one. When we requested for a water dispenser, they sent one right away. When we requested for late checkout, they told us the rooms must be vacated by 1PM, but even though the rooms were only evacuated by 1:30PM, they did not charge us for that extra 30minutes.
Bringing in of foods wasn’t a problem either. We had 44 packed meals delivered without being questioned by the receptionists.
When we came down to leave for the church, the receptionists were all smiles and congratulated us.
The only concern we had was the additional payment for the airconditioner in the living room. Had we known that in advance, we would’ve set aside some money for that too (the suppliers and the groom were sweating while doing their pictorial).
Package Cost: ~PhP 9,500.
Package Inclusion: Presidential Suite for 2 nights, Executive Suite for 1 night, Junior Suite 1 for 1 night.
R&M’s rating: 4.9
