BRIDE's GOWN: AVA BRIDAL

Rating Legend:
5 – highest
1 – lowest

We got M’s gown from the internet (as previously blogged) in order to save money. This meant though that, unlike most wedding gowns in the Philippines, M’s won’t be custom-made.

After trying on a few gowns from a bridal store, M ditched her initial plan of getting a Grecian-inspired empire-cut wedding gown and find an A-line cut gown instead. One of her workmates recommended Ava Bridal as she knows too well that M was in search for a “not-so-expensive” wedding gown. A year before the wedding, M already had her eyes on one of the designs. The gown was ordered last week of January 2012 and arrived by mid-March 2012. Customer service – excellent.

M requested a few revisions on the design, and was glad they were followed. The gown was tweaked slightly – it was as if M got a customized gown after all!

The petticoat, however, was not included. M had to order a separate petticoat which meant another shipping fee (and the shipping fee was higher than the item price).
Package Cost: < AUD 250 for wedding gown + shipping fee; < AUD 20 for petticoat + shipping fee.
Package Inclusion: Wedding gown; Petticoat.

R&M’s rating: 5
