The best things in life are free – and it was true for our bridal car.
We both wanted a white vehicle – and did not want to spend much for it. Our first option was to borrow from our relatives and/or friends which meant having to do away with white. Renting was the last option.
When we both decided on a pick-up for a bridal car, it was R who thought of a Nissan Navarra, and who to borrow it from.
As we got the vehicle for free, there wasn’t any payment required, and the most we could do was give the driver a decent meal. The vehicle was there at the preps at 3PM sharp, and was waiting in front of the church until we finished our pictorial.
The vehicle was airconditioned, and being a pick-up, there was a lot of leg room. On our way to the church, there were 5 people on the vehicle – the bride, MOB, MOH, videographer and the driver. On our way to the reception, there were only 4: groom, bride, OTD coord and driver.
After a few minutes and having been caught in a bit of a traffic jam (which thankfully wasn’t that long), we found ourselves already in PSE. The driver dropped us right in front of the venue, and proceeded to the parking lot.
After the wedding reception, when we were finally handed the guest list, we noticed that our bridal car driver did not go inside the reception hall, his name wasn’t highlighted nor checked which meant he did not have any meal that night! We felt really sorry, and when we saw him the next day we apologized once again.
Package Cost: Pledged.
Package Inclusion: Use of vehicle from preps to reception.
