On "the" dress code

A little less then a month before our wedding and M already asked Mommy to please start distributing our invites.

We were supposed to start hand-delivering them (with the help of some friends and family members, thank you!) during the Easter holiday until Mommy said leave it until a month before. As a compromise, M asked Doi, with Mommy's permission knowledge to start mailing-out the invites intended for overseas guests. That was almost a month ago. Some of our overseas guests have already received theirs, except the ones intended for our friends in Oz which M just mailed yesterday.

Now, if you are one of our invited guests, do know that you will receive your invites soon, hopefully. Inside the envelope, aside from the main cards, is an RSVP card - the size of which is smaller than a business card. [And no, we won't be asking you to please RSVP because you already know that, don't you?] Somewhere on that card, you will find "No BLACK, WHITE and/or LIGHT PINK please."

That specific line is only for female guests, and does NOT apply to male guests.

While our wedding colors are black, white and light pink, we wanted our guests to play around with colors. Our female entourage members will wear black, our flower girls will wear pink, and the female principal sponsors can wear whatever color they wish to wear. Even our own moms chose whatever color they wanted except for black and light pink so they won't have the same color as the abays and the chikitings.
