With less than 5 months to go before our big day, I am, so far, on panic mode. R on the other hand kept telling me to stop panicking as we are, more or less, on the right track and are way ahead of the timeline.
Invitation layouts: already finished weeks ago - we're just waiting for confirmation from some of the members of the entourage before we send it for printing.
My DIYs are now taking shape. I was so close to having a third party get involved with one of my DIYs, but thanks to R's constant reminder "I thought you'd want things to have your personal touch" I decided to proceed with them. Am so far happy with what I did, although one of them is still a far cry from what it should look like. But hey, I'm getting there. I just need a glue gun, a sewing machine, a....
Cake design: already submitted to the cake supplier. Nothing too girly nor too fancy.
When I think about the wedding, I guess there are only 2 things, as of the moment, which gives me that these-things-need-to-be-done-and-decided-by-now feeling: reception styling and music (for both ceremony and reception). I have several pegs of what I want the reception venue to look like, however could not pinpoint exactly which elements on those pegs I exactly want. Same goes for music: I could not single out any particular song I want for the march (no music for the vows, thank you very much).
Come foodtasting (the date still undecided), I really hope they can help us put together our ideas.
