Part 3 of our pre-nup was in Corregidor. And although there was a promise made by M that "I will iron my hair before I leave home at 5:30AM", two things did not materialize - 1)ironing the hair, and 2)leaving at 5:30AM. All because of the alarm clock (plus Tini left at 5:50 instead).
We were still able to check-in before 7:10AM, thanks to the fx from Sm North, and cab from Kalaw Ave.
We met Sha & her husband Jerdz just before we left Manila. When we arrived, we joined the tour first which started right after we boarded one of their buses just as we went down the ferry.
It was both our first time in Corregidor, we enjoyed every bit of the tour except at some points where R wasn't able to get a good photo of a particular landscape or ruin. The food was also OK, not bad for a pre-paid buffet. The tomato&basil pasta was a hit for M. There was a continuation of the tour just after lunch, but we did not join the group. Instead, we got ourselves ready for the shoot that afternoon.
The L300 van was already waiting for us at the bottom of the hotel when we got out. Our first stop was supposed to be the Mile-Long Barracks, but we stopped mid-way when Sha and R found a very good photo opp in one of Corregidor's winding roads.
We made 5 stops all in all, including the Bachelors Officers' Quarters, Lighthouse, Battery Way & Lorcha Dock.
Few photos will be posted as soon as they are available.
